I want to do an Andy Warhol- style configuration with my photo, painting different colors on my face, hair, etc. I am looking for something very easy and basic. I can copy and paste, but my skills are limited. Can anyone recommend a website or program to help? Thanks in advance. For what it's worth, I will give the 10 points to someone.

Paint Shop Pro (or it's newer Corel version) is a good beginning graphic program to learn -- Photoshop requires more time and effort and 3x more expensive. It's perfect for Web Art, and tailored for the internet (Photoshop is a bitmap editor made for photographs, not web graphics).

If you want to try something like Photoshop but don't have the cash, try GIMP, it's free and has many of the same effects as Photoshop. Like, Photoshop though, it takes a long learning curve to use.

In all graphics programs it takes practice to get the results you seek, but at least the practicing is fun. Experiment and create something exciting. :)

Give Adobe Photoshop Elements a try. They have a 30 day trial version of the program you can download for free. I use version 3.0 to tweak my photos. Good selection of filters to change lighting, colour and alter the image itself. Expect the new and improved 5.0 trial version is worth a peek.

You can find it here:

Have fun.
