So would I need to buy a charger? Or does the ipod shuffle use normal alkaline batterys? Please help! I wanted to know how to recharge ur ipod shuffle thanks!

The iPod shuffle has an internal nonremovable rechargeable battery. it charges while it is plugged in to a usb drive on a computer from the USB drive. If you want to charge an iPod on a wall outlet, you'll have to buy a wall charger for just $30.

Yep, just like everyone else said. The computer is the charger in a way. The shuffle will come with a USB Cable. So you just hook it up to your comp and it will start charging. Though I think it stops when your comp goes into standby or screensaver mode. Don't quote me on that though.

by usb or by wall charger. some companies give you free wall charger with their products. 4 ipod it is expensive and you need to buy it because it is not standard equipment. i bought ms industrial mp4 player and i got wall charger for free.
