For Scientific Notation, you want to put the decimal point behind the lead number, other than a zero!

So for number 1, the lead decimal goes after the 8. Then you count how many numbers you pass before you get to the place where the decimal used to be.
8.00000000 (I count 8 numbers, so our exponent is 8! If our number was teeny-tiny, we'd put a negative exponent. You'll get a feel for that after a little practice.)

1. 8.0 * 10^8 m
2. 1.5 * 10^-3 kg
3. 6.02 * 10^4 L
4. 9.5 * 10^-4 m
5. 8.002 km
6. 6 * 10^-11 kg

I hope the explanation will help you check my answers on your own! Good luck!
