Did Captain Jack Sparrow die in the end.

I would say no because I was told there is going to be another Pirate movie, which would make sense in why it ended the way it did.

He's sorta dead. He'll obviously come back in the next movie - they'll figure out some hackneyed way of bringing him back from the dead. Officially, however, Captain Jack Sparrow died at the jaws of that gooey monster that kept surfacing throughout the movie and making sensitive viewers cringe in anticipatory disgust.

Technically, yes. But ask yourself this: Could they have POTC without Jack Sparrow? He's obviously coming back in the third movie.

Nope just swallowed..... They'll have to go to the deep deep sea to get him back... which that's what number 3 is all about
So think of Dead Man's Chest as a long trailer for number 3!

it was made to look that way but they are now filming the third installment of the the series right now. will be out next year.

No I know he didn't . Their going to make a tired one and if he's not going to be in it. Nobody would want to see if . His one of the main charecter.
