fall out boy has the best lines if i do say so myself...
ooh look at Saving Jane - come down to me.
but recently...Nickleback - Far Away
and Sanctus Real - Im Not Alright

I prefer songs that I can actually hear and understand what they're saying; so almost anything from the 1890's-early 90's is good; I like some rap and hip-hop (the beat), but can't understand unless it's someone like Will Smith/Run Dmc, Ice Cube, Ice Tea...

Depends on what kind of genre you're into...
Smashing Pumpkins "thirty-three"
Wu-Tang "triumph"
Led Zeppelin "what is and what should never be"
The Roots feat. Musiq "break you off"
Tevin Campbell "always in my heart"
those are some of my fav's
