I am a graduate student of architecture at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. I am working on my thesis which is set in Lagos, Nigeria and I am indesperate need on maps and plans of my site area. I have unfourtunately ransacked the internet to no avail.
I am looking of detailed maps of lagos state in Nigeria with focus on Isolo and Mushin, the area borded by Apapa-Oshodi Express way, Isolo Road and Agege Motor road. The details i'm looking for include topography ( Contours), property lines, building outlines and building types, utilities, roads and railways and geological information.
Can anyone advise me on where I can search or refer me to someone or an organization that can provide or help me source this information?

I have tried google earth, but its not clear for Nigeria...!!!

Hre's a starting point. these 3 links will take you to Satelite photos of Lagos. Once you're there, you can put in more details of what you want. Good luck!

try the Nigerian embassy (and good luck!)
try oil companies in the area of you project site: it might need some convincing and diplomacy but if they are nearby, they are sitting on information. will they give it / sell it to you is another story.
