You really should pay closer attention in school.

Do you really think people are going to hand you the answers throughout your life.

"Learn! Do!" ~ paraphrase from Battle for the Planet of the Apes

Here is the rule on rounding numbers:

4 followed by any series of numbers rounds down
5 followed by any series of numbers rounds up

Examples:

31,547 rounded to the nearest thousandth? Look to the hundreds place. It is a 5. So 31,547 rounded to the nearest thousandth is rounded UP to 32,000.

1,447 rounded to the nearest hundredth. Look to the ten's place. It is a 4. So 1,447 rounded to the nearest hundred is rounded DOWN to 1,400.

1,342,589,458 rounded to the nearest million? Look to the hundred-thousandths place. It is a 5. So the answer is 1,343,000,000.

Learn!

Do!

46,208 to the nearest thousand is 50,000

42,496 to the nearest thousand is 40,000
49,009 to the nearest thousand is also 50,000

You just have to look at the thousands place and see what the number is. 4 and below, it stays the same. 5 and above, you go to the next number.

this is not that difficult a question, but if you must.....
the ten-thousand's place is the 5th digit from the left. the easiest way is to underline the number you're rounding to, then draw an arrow to the number next to it. if the number you're pointing at is 5 or higher, it makes the underlined number go up. if it's 4 or below, the underlined number stays the same.
so, in answer to your question 50,000; 40,000; 50,000

I would say 50,000. Example take 46 and round that off to 50
then just add three more zeros, it's that simple. Oh yeah
you're welcome.

This is easy.
if the hundreds column is 5 or greater, you round up
if it's less than 5 you round down.
so
42,400 amd 49,000
