as a nurse who has worked in hospital for many years and has nursed terminally ill patients, who were not given the their possible life saving medicines or operations because the government wouldn't pay for it. These patients didn't want to get cancer, many of them have worked hard all their lives , some served for their country, payed taxes, but they didn't get what they needed and they very sadly died a very often painfull death. i think these are the patients who deserve to have money spent on them, i think you obviously need to seek professional advice but i don't think as a tax payer my money should be put towards you having a sex change and then having ivf. there are married couple who don't have that privilege because there are out of area of the trust does not offer that service.
I believe there are more deserving causes that should become before you and i am sorry to say it because i know you must be very depressed living a life that you detest . i think you should start saving there are many other thousands of people who need reconstructive surgery some of them have to pay for it themselves.

I don't think that people that pay taxes should have to pay anything for you an sex change is not a legitamate medical need. Plus after you have a sex change you still won't have a uterus or eggs so you won't be able to have a child anyway.

the government does not pay anything as effectively it has no money - the tax payer pays - the government only pays out according to its policies (alledgedly ) on what it is elected on .

i don't think it's possible! let alone economic...if you're serious find someone willing to be a surrogate and stop watching junior! (arnie schwarzeggar preggers yer right!) all that surgery if it was possible just to have a child and then possibly more surgery to deliver it? how much would that bloody cost?

you've got to be joking right?

Other taxpayers should not have to pay you a dime because you are psychologically messed up. If you want to rip apart your body do it at your own expense.

Michael Jackson did.

Umm, even if you have a sex change, you still won't have a uterus or eggs, and therefore won't be able to have IVF.
