The short answer is that yes, it isn't just you :-)
The long answer is that Bigfoot falls into the same category as psychic powers and UFOs - things that are fun to think about but just aren't real. Know how to tell these things from reality? If the phrase 'Do you believe in...' preceeds a topic, you can be sure it is because it has no real evidence for it's existence and requires a leap of faith. But like Santa Clause and the Tooth Fairy, most people grow up and can recognise this lack of evidence and correctly label these things as just being fun - but not real.

Last year I had a Biology teacher who was dead set on the fact that there is a Bigfoot. Although, i don't remember what, if any evidence he gave to support this claim. Personally, I think if Bigfoot existed we would have seen him out in the open and not just suspicious foot prints on the ground.

No. To me, it's like believing in aliens and having all of these crazy scientif shows of trying to prove it (I don't believe in aliens either). If Bigfoot DID/ DOES exist, I don't know know what I'd believe anymore!!! I'd be scared too!

yes I have heard people that live around here talk about seeing bigfoot, but I have never seen it.

I believe that it exists but not as a "spooky" creature but as some sort of mountain gorilla. A regular animal that is smart enough to stay away from humans
