In California there are re-sale shops just for baby clothes. check them out. The baby does not know what is new or used. save for the future!!!! Good Luck and enjoy your baby!!!!!

You can try Target in Jersey City. I just got a bunch of stuff there very cheap. I'm not sure if they have Target in New York or not. I used to go to Conway in New York City for my older son's clothes and I can not remember if they have baby clothes or not. Old Navy has some good sales too. If you come over to Jersey, there is a Carters Outlet store in the Elizabeth Outlet Shopping Center and I did get some great things there for great places.

yes, you can go to downtown brooklyn to Macys and look in the clearance section of the baby clothes. sometimes there are good buys. Ive seen people buy clothes like for 5 dollars. plus extra savings with cupon and Macy's charge card.

If your looking for new clothes Target, JC Penney and Kohls are pretty inexpensive.
For used clothes try a consignment shop.

I dont know about New York but we have consignment stores here in the west one is called kid to kid, I would look for something like this and gasrage sales.

Depends on your version of cheap. Lots of stores have clothes, just depends on if you think they are cheap or not.
