The story of Adam and Eve is a metaphor for why there is sin, it didn't really happen - it's a fictional story. You're taking it too literally and so do a lot of other people.
If they wouldn't have eaten the apple there wouldn't be a story about them because they were created to explain sin. So, without the story the way it exists now, Adam and Eve don't exist.

It was destined for them to eat the apple. But a what if question is a good one. If there had not been sin then Christ would not have come to save sinners. The population would probably been allot smaller. Remember in the bible there were Adam and Eve and Cain and his brother Able. Cain slew able and went into the desert and found his wife. So if there had not been sin then Cain would never had been jealous of Able and No one would slew any one. Good question.

Interesting question, but G-d intended them to eat the apple. According to Jewish mystical tradition, G-d needed them to eat from the tree of knowledge, because the tree of knowledge is the origin of concepts and of duality (i.e. differentiation among concepts and things). Without eating from the tree of knowledge, they would not be capable of differentiating. What's so important about differentiating? If you can't differentiate, then you can't have the concepts of right and wrong, and without the concepts of right and wrong there can be no free will. And, to make a long story long, the whole purpose of G-d's limiting himself in order to create a physical and imperfect world was to bring into the world a people capable of freely choosing between right and wrong. Only a people who can distinguish between right and wrong, and who then freely choose right, can elevate the divine in the physical world to a spiritual level. And the only thing more spiritually powerful than pure goodness (i.e. tha malachim or angels) is something that has started as impure and been elevated through a spiritual act.
The typical characterization of Adam and Eve as having been forced to leave the garden is misleading. The mystical tradition teaches that being in the garden of eden was really a matter of being able to look at the world as a complete innocent: without the ability to see distinctions and boundaries, to differentiate, to grasp the difference between right and wrong. So once they had eaten from the tree of knowledge they were no longer ignorant of the concepts of right and wrong, no longer able to see the world as a unitary thing without differentiating. So of course once that happened, the garden of eden simply ceased to exist for them.

We would be pure. Only Judaism for a religion because Jesus would have never been needed. We'd be in the garden of eden, and life would be boring. All we would do is worship God and live forever.

There would be special places where the clothingists would go to walk around outside actually wearing clothes over their naked skin. It would seem bizarre to most people who would never appear outdoors unless they were naked, but for others, the thought of "putting something on" would have a tantalizing erotic allure.

Well, if you really believe that story...
I guess we'd be elbow to elbow -over crowded with no death
we'd be nude and Jewish
we'd be essentially in the stone age-with the perfection of Eden , there would be no need to read, write, invent, think, create, etc etc etc
we'd still be eating fruits and nuts, grains and vegatables since we wouldn't have domain over the animal world
we'd be emotionally underdeveloped, infant-like in our dealings with each other
we'd be [all of us] holier than thou with the angels since god him/her/itself would talk directly with us
and the Cubs still would not have won a world series!!!

There was no Adam and Eve so there would be no difference. The world would be the same as if there had been no Tooth Fairy.
