This has happened to me more times than I would like to admit.

Take it all apart, put it on a towel, and let it sit in front of a heater (but not too close). If it is hot where you live and you dont want the heat on, put it in the sun.

Tomorrow, try putting the battery on and see if it works.

Pray that you have insurance - it is probably too late at this point but you should take it apart - taking the battery out and using a hairdryer on it. This will not fix the problem, but it will get through until you get another one. Cell companies put things in the phone that changes colors when it gets wet. I work at a cell company the next thing that is going to happen is it will vibrate - shut off by itself - etc.

First thing I would do is wash it. How much depending on what was in the toilet with the phone. Then dry it and set it somewhere warm so any water that got into it can dry. If it works you are home free, if it doesn't you'll have to replace it or take it back to where you got it and exchange it.

I hope you have insurance, if so, its covered. Otherwise, if it doesn't work you'll have to get another one. Try putting it in an OFF oven overnight to dry it out, and check it out the next morning. Why do so many people drop phones in the toilet??

The sim card could desire to be effective. it extremely is between the simplest component interior the telephone. To all people that this could happen to interior the destiny-do no longer immidietly attempt to show on the telephone to work out if it works-despite if it does-turning it on with water interior will fry it. Take it aside, dry for like 2 days and then attempt turning it on. by the way- a telephone will lose it extremely is guarantee after pool-social gathering like that. there's a lettle paper circle interior the physique which will replace colours if it gets in touch with humidity. it extremely is quite delicate-so even having your pal in a fogged up bathing room can bring about loosing it extremely is guarantee...

Flush it. You're better off.

Most likely it won't work and there is a "strip of paper" within the cell itself that can tell the workers if moisture was the cause of the disfunction. It turns a different color once it gets wet.

You'll end up buying a new one anyway unless you have insurance that covers that sort of accident.

You don't have to be a total germaphobe for this to freak you out, but make sure you've learned your lesson and shell out the bucks for a new phone. You don't even want to think about what you'd be putting your mouth right next to...ewwwwwwwww

Just buy a new phone.

i would suggest attempting to get the phone to work. if this fails, take the phone to the place you purchased said phone from. once there, inform the clerks and such of your predicament. they should be able to help you. if you bought phone insurance, they may replace the phone. if not, take the phone home and blow dry it. take it apart and blow dry it. it wont fix it, but the sparks will be beautiful!
