My boyfriend of 2 years use to always be with his friends more then me and also want to play poker online then spend any time with me. I have said somethings to him and he got mad and broke it off with me.. The next day we decited to try to work it out.. I told him that I would like a little more of his time.. not all of his time but just a little more. He came up and watched movies on Friday night just like any other Friday night.. Stayed here Sat night and we went to a tail gate party (he asked if I wanted to go) and he held my hand and was really nice to me. I went to his house 2 days last week to play cards with his mom, and his one friend (thats a male). and we haven't argued at all since we have been back together. I haven't complained about anything. I think it's working out this time.. any suggestions on what eles we can do.. I am 24 and he's 27.

Also now when he gets mad at something, I don't sit there and bug him to tell me what is wrong. I just say I will talk to you later or I will just leave him alone till he calms down.

Things seem great in paradise for the time being. But there will be issues eventually. You and him always need to communicate if things are bothering you. If you both were meant for eachother things will always work out some how. Just make sure you give him the space he needs when he needs it...without getting mad or questioning him. We all need some time to ourselves. Keep on loving eachother.

Want an honest opinion, even if it is not what you want to hear?... If yes, then read farther...
Yes, you are doing better, since you are sharing more activities. Card playing, movie watching, tail--gate parties, etc.,.,. like that.
When people hold hands, that's always nice, isnt it?
BUT, neither one of you is engaged in a mind--to--mind or heart--to--heart relationship. What you have is that you relate only by activities-- like the above, and I guess, --s*e*x.
You two are either rather immature for people in the twenties, or else you don't really KNOW each other. You are really only friends, but you think that you have a connection.
When any crisis strikes you guys later, you will break up, because you don't have a LOVE relationship. All you really are is friends.
Real male--female relationships have to be a LOT more than just sharing compatible activities.

Just take things day for day and find interesting things to do. You do things he likes to do even if you don't like them and vice versa. Don't act like he has to be under you 54/7 bcuz that will run him off. Keep your relationship open and talk about everything. Have discussions about things that will help to improve things and if it isn't big then let it go.

Sounds good now but he might change back to his regular self soon. Be careful because this may hurt you and men don't like to feel tied down.
