The beauty of a person lies within and not just skin deep. People of substance also look for real substance in people. The body is only a packing. Look deep inside the soul where the true personality resides. This is the way to happiness. Do not judge by the cover ... give importance to the contents.

You've never heard the story of the ugly duckling, have you?
Stop worrying about it. Glasses are sexy, and the acne will go away.
Acne sits on the top of your skin. How much fun you are to be around gets into a guy's BRAIN and makes it so that he can't stop thinking about you.
Smile a lot. Laugh. Be happy. You'll attract guys by the dozens.
And if you're talking about a guy you like, and you're actually asking whether or not you should date him just because he has glasses and acne, then don't. You don't deserve him.

Some people look good with glasses, including me..It just comes with life. Some people have glasses, some don't, and just because they have glasses doesn't mean they're an nerd.
Acne, on the other hand, can be a little nasty. But same with glasses, some people can look good with it. And it'll eventually go away.
So yes, I would date a person with glasses, acne, or both.

But what if they have a wonderful personality? Acne doesn't last a lifetime. It last only a short time. A lot of people who wear glasses get contacts as adults or lasik surgery. Even if he didn't, who cares? If he's got personality, character and integrity, a sense of humor and you feel good around him, why do you care about that superficial stuff?

my bf in college had acne...also wore glasses for reading. we got along great and had great conversations. he was 3 yrs older than me, and it was a fun time. i wouldn't close the door that fast on someone that wears glasses and has acne. (i kept on breaking out, however after kissing him...) =( but...my current bf has perfect skin and doesn't wear glasses. it's the person, not ALL about appearance, as long as some attraction is there.

do glasses and acne go hand in hand?
Um i would totally date a man that wears glasses. It gives them personality. You might be stuck in the I need to be like my pier's phase where anything slightly different than what is popular is unattractive. You might get over this with time.

If they were nice and I liked talking to them. I think I being the type of person I am would try to help them get rid of their acne though, in case we were going to be spending close time together. I love a smooth face.

wow, to the girl who said:
"acne is just a sign u don't take good care of ur skin and that could follow into other things."
that is a huge myth. i have mild but persistent acne, and i take outstanding care of my skin. it's hormonal, NOT hygienic.
i'm amazed at the number of people who truly believe acne only happens to people who don't wash or something. that's so ridiculous! i participate in an acne site online. almost all of of us go to great lengths to ensure cleansed, properly cared-for skin.... yet we still have this problem. educate yourselves before you speak -- there are causes of this condition.
and as for dating someone who wears glasses... lmao. I myself wear contacts, and i'm no less "worthy" or less attractive because of it. in fact, i consider myself beautiful. sorry to say it, but this is truly one of the sadder questions/answer lists i've seen on Yahoo.
