It may not be back in the stacks yet or misfiled; ask for help and if you can't find it, go to another Library; check the computer before leaving and call the other place first to see if they call pull it off the shelves and have it waiting so you don't waste your time.

The book hs either been misfiled, lost or stolen. This happens far more than you think. Possible solution ask if it is available at another library or see if a cheap one can be purchased online.
