In response to a very nosey census sent out by the UK government, it was considered a "crime" not to fill it in, therefore in protest a number of people put Jedi down as their religion. I guess filed away some are the details of the UK census and you might be able to find out if people power succeeded!

It replaced into the 2001 census. all people stated that if adequate human beings stated they have been Jedi, then it may be recognized as a faith. different than that when this replaced into going around, of course, the government heard approximately it. After the outcomes got here in and that they observed a selection of of "Jedis" they stated they could locate all people that claimed they have been one, and effective them for filling out the census wrongly. undergo in techniques that it extremely is against the regulation to no longer finished the census actual. i be attentive to somebody that stated he replaced right into a Jedi, and he in no way have been given fined, so i do no longer think of they persued it. it extremely isn't any longer a faith inspite of the incontrovertible fact that, as they be attentive to it replaced into crap.
