How do you define "discriminate"? I don't care for rap music so I don't listen to it. Simple as that. What I don't like is hearing music (such as rap) blasting out of a near-by car so that I am forced to hear it. I would argue that that is also discrimination... what about my rights?

I can tell you one thing.....Look at the way you type, which suggests to me that, that is the way you talk as well, it has to be a secondary effect of listening to crap like rap. I am Mexican too and I am ashamed of people like you.

Rap music got a bad wrap, no pun intended, when gansta rap was really popular. It's just never been able to recover. I have to admit, I was one to classify all rap together, good and bad. I've actually been listening to it as it's become more popular on the pop stations and really like most of it.

rap is cool, I like tupac and ice cube
but I mostly listen to Heavy Metal
I think people discriminate rap because its not real music
it's all artificially created by devices
and the "rap" anyone can do it................no body cares about it
its all about the beat

you're discriminating by assuming this. not ALL of rap music is about drugs, killing people, robberies, and sex with strippers, and expensive champagne.... but MOST of it is. and NOT MOST of other genres of music is based on this.. if they need to get out of the "ghetto" by creating a song ... more power to them. but c'mon now,, even that sounded stupid..

RAP HAS BECOME SOMETHING SHOWING LOT'S OF VIOLENCE, ANGER AND UNFORTUNATELY IGNORANCE. YOUNG PEOPLE TODAY WILL HAVE CHILDREN AND PASS THAT CRAP TO THEM. I'M HOPING THAT SOMEDAY THAT STUFF GOES OUT THE DOOR COMPLETELY.
