First of all I am not a muslim, but I do feel that true muslims do NOT distort their faith. This means that any muslim who commits these serious attrocities is not a true muslim. Read about the faith of Islam. It does not condone this violence. Radical muslims feel this way because they have been opressed for so long they can't think about anything else, and everyone is an infidel to them. They have twisted their religion to fit their purpose, but not all of them are like that. They don't speak out because it's not their nature to do so. They have been taught to deal with things within their own circle. I not only read everything I can to better understand these people, but someday I hope it is safe enough to travel to the Mid East to visit holy sites. If you are not of the intellectual type please do not answer my question. No stupid people here.

Not exactly accurate.

Many radical muslims were never opressed.
Many were wealthy and/or from wealthy familys.
Others were brought up from birth in the lies.

The twisted info is taught from birth in many cases.

It needs to be in their nature to speak out, because silence is supporting of the violence.

The muslims I know (who are actually christian in secret), say that the lack of speaking out often is in fear of death not the 'in their nature'.

Btw, according the the ones I know, leaving muslim faith is in fact deadly to many (& not neccearily twisted, but part of the society ills.

I love a religion that pounds the mantra "Islam is a religion of Peace" into our heads all the time. What does that religion do when the peaceful nature of their religion is questioned? They start burning sh!t down and calling for the deaths of infidels (examples being the recent dust up with the Pope and the cartoon BS last year)

President is always saying that they hate our freedoms. That is only partly true. What they hate is atheists, pornography, abortion, casual sex, homosexuality. Those are the types of freedoms that they hate. I am not a liberal and I would love to to bin laden caught or killed. I will fight for my country but I can't see to many Muslims who would side with the united states or any other country who allows and practices these (freedoms). I am not anti Muslim but I am anti terrorists. That use their belief to kill innocent people.
