Do you agree with his idea about decriminalizing marijuana, to make room in prisons for more violent offenders? What about his statements about his comments about Katrina evacuees? Immingration? Death Penalty? Casinos to pay for education? What are your thoughts? He is so different than most politicians, and very honest about problems plaguing TX. Do you think he has a chance? I sure hope so!

My first reaction was "this must be a joke" But, No! it's for real. What is sad he is looking better everyday. Have to be careful though; Texas politicians can promise the moon; then have to have a constitution amendment approved by voters before their promises can be fulfilled. As far as I can see he has as good a chance as anyone, both parties need to clean up their act.

Although I do not reside in Texas , I have many friends who reside in Texas . Kinky Friedman will make a great Governor , and will breathe some fresh ideas into the State !
