Has anyone experienced this? Or know what it could be?

A neurologist can test you for carpal tunnel. If it wakes you up at night, and feels like your hand is falling asleep, you may have it. It is a repetitive strain injury - like for people who type all day or work in a factory. You can wear a brace to help reduce the pain, get physiotherapy or surgery. I had surgery the left hand and it feels much better, now waiting for the right hand to be done.

Have you recently gone through something stressful a death, birth, something like that. It could be you are suffering from a panic attack this happened to me after i had my son, my hands went numb then feet, I got really nervous and my heart started beating really fast. I know it sounds weird but, it can happen. Talk with the doctor

it sounds like carpel tunnel syndrome I've got it and its caused from strenous use with you're hands

It could be a pinched nerve. This will heal in time.
