I feel great about it! I really don't mind interracial dating. I think its beautiful when people can express their feelings and not bow to the status que placed on us by society. People forget the culture of america and so it seems, there isn't what they would describe a "problem" with this situation, They choose not to address it, well the "problem" is people being color blind, to the specifics of the word, BLIND TO THE COLORS AROUND YOU. They are unwilling to accept them and hence they are not there or you are blind to them. I don't believe in color blindness, its ignorance, it needs to change, be aware of the wonderous variety around you and accept it. I Think its extremly interesting to learn about other people's ways of life. I think its really sad that people of any race can simply 'dis' others becuase they are of any color.

People have been raised with prejudice for so many years and grown into adulthood with the same prejudices and then transfer them down to their children and so on and so on. It is only when someone stands up and says this is enough....I don't care what the color of their skin is...I only care how I feel when I am with them..then will this madness end.
If people were all blind and had to meet other people and base their feelings on how they interacted with that person and not based on their race or color, then the world would be a better place.

i think of that's close minded to think of that. the worldwide has replaced and each guy or woman ought to be recognized as equivalent. I extremely have had many pals in interracial relationships and that's no longer disgusting. Love between 2 consenting adults is on no account incorrect for my area. if your human beings want you to have self belief something which you do no longer experience is stable, perhaps its time for brand spanking new pals...

In my opinion there is nothing wrong with it in any shape or way. I have dated outside my race throughout my entire life. What we black women need to start doing is to leave our options open for all types of men. Why is it that our black brothers can date outside their race with ease, but we feel guity for doing it? We must understand this: dating outside our race will not make us any less black, nor do non black men have anything less(or more) to offer than black men. Sistas: stop beleiveing myths and roumers, and stop letting society hold you to a double standard. Its a beuatiful workld out there and if we worry about what race we date then we are only allowing racism to control another part of our lives. Viva la difference

In order to keep a race strong, they need to marry within their race...If everyone intermarried, eventually there would not be a distinct race...

i am all for mixed race marriages

however as your friend is still living with her parents then she has to abide (for now) by their wishes

if she was old enough to make her own mind up then she could find herself her own place to live
