I'm sure your teacher showed you how to do this....it's really not that hard, so I'll tell you how to do #1 and you can do the rest.

The object is to get the unknown, in this case 'w' alone. To do this you want to move numbers from one side of the = sign to the other until you get everything except the 'w' on the other side. You can do this with many basic math functions, just as long as you remember, what you do to one side you must do to the other.

First, since you are subtracting 1 on the right side, you should add 1 to both sides:
5-w=2w-1 becomes 5-w+1=2w-1+1
or 6-w=2w

Next, move the w from the left side to the right side by adding:
6-w+w=2w+w
or 6=3w

Now you know that 3w's equal 6, so to find the value of one w, divide both sides by 3:
6/3=3w/w
so 2=w

This really isn't hard, just basic algebra. If you want to do well in shcool you're going to have to do this on your own, because you can't post your test questions online.

5-w=2w-1
5+1=2w+w
3w=6
w=2

2s=3s-10
3s-2s=10
s=10

2(x+3)+2(x+4)=24
2x+6+2x+8=24
4x=24-16
4x=8
x=2

8z+12=5z-21
8z-5z=-21-12
3z=-33
z= -11

7b-6(11-2b)=10
7b-66+12b=10
19b=76
b=4

10k-7=2(13-5k)
10k-7=26-10k
20k=26+7
20k=33
k=33/20

Damn, the text is so damn small. I hurt my eyes just seeing the problem.

A "math professional" makes no sense to be sure those particularly user-friendly algebraic issues. in case you are able to no longer sparkling up them your self, you ought to tell your instructor this, and the two be held back a 365 days, or get a private teach. in case you are able to no longer do those now, there is not any substantial turn away, yet once you go directly to be a wageearning person nevertheless lacking such undemanding math skills, you will positively grow to be a objective of a criminal-minded guy or woman greater numerate than you, and in spite of earnings you do gain, you will quickly be parted from it! I propose you have a serious talk with a instructor, a parent, or an older pupil you are able to have confidence. you're able to be able to desire to study those products, extremely you do! ultimate desires.

Order of Operations… Remember “Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally.”
Please = Parentheses
Excuse = Exponents
My = Multiplication
Dear = Division
Aunt = Addition
Sally = Subtraction

Get like terms on each side of the equal sign; then, simplify and solve for x.
Example: 2x+5x = 5-7
(1/7)7x=-2(1/7)
x=-2/7

Then, check by substituting the value for x back into the original equation and see if one side equals the other. They should.

i would do it, but thats cheating and you should do your own homework! but good try! heres a hint, make one side equal to w by moving the others over by adding subtracting and deviding to make it 0.but make sure you do the same to both sides, like if u have 1x+2=0 and you want to find x you wouldmake it 1x = -2 by subtracting -2 from both sides. there for since there is only 1 x, x = -2

i know for number 3) what u do is that the 2 and mul. it by the everything inside the ().
which should be 2x + 6x + 2x +8x=24
now u combine the like terms
now add the all the numbers
it should be 18x=24
now u should divided them
and the anwser should be 3 ......... i hope
hope this helps

These are all easy. If you cheat this way to get them done, how do you expect to ever pass a test?
