If I were a health-care professional, yes, I would. I'd help as an ordinary citizen, if I could afford to go.

I'd rather volunteer at a clinic for the homeless in the US.
I'm not very brave when it comes to hot weather, etc.

No. It takes a special kind of person to go there. I used to live in Africa so I know how you could be targetted, even if you are trying to help. Not worth it.
