If the glass was originally full then half poured out - HALF EMPTY

If the glass was empty then some was poured in - HALF FULL

Depends.

It's all dependent on the last action to occur to the glass of liquid.

If the glass is in the process of being filled, then it is half full.

If it is in the process of being drank or otherwise emptied, then it is half empty.

I prefer to use Realism instead of pessimism or optimism.
the glass is neither half full or half empty.

the Glass is in fact at the halfway point of its usefull life

Why do we have to decide? At some points in our life it's over-flowing... other points it may need replenishing. There has to be somewhat of a balance. With the "full" moments we have to accept the "empty" times as well. Thats my opinion.

half full because one is alway experincing life and filling up the cup..untill it fills and "you cant take anymore of the ****"

half empty because your living life and using it up until "theres nothing left"
