Can two ladies be friends for more than 20 years and NEVER at one point or another be tempted to be sexual?

I have a girlfriend who is so into her bestfriend to the point that they have created a world all their own. This gf of mine just go nuts when her bestfriend is pissed off with her. She said she loves no one else more than her bestfriend and she can't live w/o her but she insists they are only friends. It's none of my business but they're relationship is somewhat in trouble and my friend wants some advice. More or less I have to know if she is in denial about everything or what so I'd be able to give some reasonable advice. She's just so going crazy right now that it is almost like a husband or wife died or something.

I don't know what to tell you, I had a girlfriend for allmost 20 years and it never turned into anything more than friends. That was all we ever wanted and it was the best friendship I had. She moved away but we still write.

Of course two women can be friends and not be tempted to be sexual. The relationship you describe doesn't sound like a typical relationship though.

yeah i think its possible to just be friends with someone without having a sexual relationship, even if it is for 20yrs. best friendships can be extremely important and her attachment seems totally normal, though to an extreme extent

lool yea i kinda understand wat she means me and my best friend are sooo close that wen we were in high skool ppl called us twins cuz we were soo alike. as for the sexual part we arent , we both prefere a great man.. just tell her to stop, breath and to think abt wat caused the fight and if she is wrong then have her apologize if the other gurl is.. then still she should say sorry... i mean how many ppl can say they have great best friends? oo yea and tell her to take sum ice cream with her .. a lil` ice cream is great for the soul ... lots of luck sweety
