I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in the Navy at the time driving to work and listening to the radio. All I had heard at the time was that a plane it, and I thought that the plane must have been broke and just crashed on accident. Then I noticed the line at the gate to the military base was outrageous. I finally got into work and we were all standing in our Maintence Control with a radio on the counter listening. When they said the 2nd plane it, we all looked at each other and realized something big was happening. Then the phone rang and we were told to be at the highest security level, where we actually had to I.D. people coming into work who we saw every day. Everything was on lock down. We knew our careers were about the change and that nothing would ever be the same again. We had a moment of silence and prayed for everyone in New York and at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania.

Live in California and was just waking up with the radio on when they said something about the twin towers. I shook my husband and we turned on the TV to see the second plane fly into the other tower. Then sat dumbstruck while we watched in horror as the towers came down. At work many co workers didn't come in. I work in one of the talest buildings in Long Beach. Several co-workers lost family members that day. My brother-in-law (a civilian engineer) was supposed to be working at the Pentagon that day but they sent him home before the plane hit as there wasn't enough work.

I was in a hill-tribe village in North Thailand when I heard the news.
Immediately a flash went through my mind saying 'They did it themselves'.
Research over the past five years has revealed that it was indeed an inside job. See below for details

I was servicing the furnace of a famous D.J. He was working in his studio, and hadn't heard about it yet, and when he turned on his TV, we saw the second plane hit. Up until then, I thought it was a terrible accident, but knew better after the second plane hit.
