I am due Thursday and I keep worrying that my water will "break" but just trickle. Has this happened to anyone to where they didn't really notice they were leaking??

My step sister had it leak and didnt realize it was her water until it just didnt stop. If ever you question this you need to get to the dr as they can do a test to see if its amniotic fluid.
Good luck and enjoy that baby!! Congrats!!

Oh dont worry, you will notice. Mine was a small trickle and I still noticed. I leaked for about two hours before the doctor broke it the rest of the way.

I had my daughter on Mon Dec 22. On Sat, the 20th, my husband and i spent the entire day shoppin at the mall finishing up our Christmas shopping. I wasn't due until Jan 1. We finished shopping, and when i got home to take a bath, my husband mentioned i looked like I had dropped A LOT. That I just looked thinner. I felt fine, so I waited until the doctor appt Monday morning. THey did an ultrasound, and said I had barely any water at all. It had all leaked out at the mall, and i had no clue. It CAN be harmful to the baby though. You should really get checked out ASAP.

My water broke in the middle of the night and i woke up and thought i peed the bed, but shortly after that i realized"my water had broke" I put my hand down there and pushed a little and a gush of warm liquid came out thats how i knew. I f there is even a trickle, you may want to have it checked out.

It has never happened to me. When my water broke it was VERY obvious to me. My best advice would be if you think your water has broke but it's just a trickle wear a maxi pad for one hour and if it is saturated after one hour there's a good chance your water broke.

Yes, it happened to me during my first pregnancy. I went to the hospital and they asked if my water had broken and I told them no, but when they checked, it had! I think maybe it broke when I was in the shower or something for me to not have noticed. Good luck with labor and congrats!

It happened to a friend of mine. If that happens to you then make sure to call the doctor ASAP & ask about it. In my friend's case, her husband was ordered to take her to the hospital immediately & she ended up having the baby that night 2 minutes before midnight.

YES, with my first child. I didn't feel like I had to pee but I just wet my pants. THANK GOD.... I had my mother around and ask her what was going on with me and she told me "HONEY, we better get to the hospital"I didn't feel any thing inside and had no pains but I was wet down both legs for no reason (or so I thought). On my way to the hospital I soaked a bed sheet my mother had me set on in the car. I made it there in time and only 3 hours later my son was born.

You will know, trust me. Even if you are 'leaking', it will be like you are constantly wetting your pants. And more importantly, it will smell differently (not like urine), it is a strange almost sweet smell. Good luck on the new little one - God Bless.
