Take the battery out. Water and electricity do not mix.

Leave the battery out until the phone completly dries.

I put my phone on my dash board for a few hours. The sun dried it out.

Then after the phone is dry put the battery and try again.

Water damage voids the warranty but if you have insurance it is covered.

If the phone comes on but does not work properly, you should still be able to transfer all your phone numbers.

Try taking battery and sim card out. dismantle it as much as you can and then dry the internals with a hair dryer on low setting.

Try taking the battery and card out and drying it off, or taking it out and putting it back in again.

Anytime you drop a phone into a toilet, you should just flush it, because it's now worth #$%^.
