I agree.... I would sit down and make a list... on a beach somewhere... of what I was going to do.... once my list was done i'd return to my home and.... I would definitely take care of my immediate family by making sure they were set for life.... then my closest friends would benefit... then my not so close friends would benefit also. I would not waste my money on luxury... but I would have a nice comfy log cabin built, a pond, and spend much of my time donating time to good causes. I would open a restaurant / pub type place and enjoy my work.....

Above all else the first thing I would do is write a check to my parents for everything they owe on their home. To be able to pay off their bills and see that look in their eyes would be amazing.
Next I would pay off my school debt, and other than that donate it to people who really needed the money.

Pay off your house, buy a new vehicle, go on vacation, and give some of your extra $ to a coulple people who could use some $ to get by. Help someone who trys hard and is thankful.

do what whuggie, and angela... suggest. pay off your debts, pay off your parents' debts.
spend some, go on a cruise!, give some to charities that are important to you. and by all means invest some/save some for your future (retirement). change to an unlisted phone number, and make sure you sign up at donotcall.gov to prevent soliciting/telemarketing calls.
