I need to know if and then how can you make your sims go to other people houses.

You cannot (in Sims 1 or Sims 2). You can only invite other sims over to your house. Therefore: if you are playing SimA and you want him to visit SimB - you must play SimB's household and invite SimA over. It's the only way.

In the Sims you ride some type of Vechile like a scooter or something... on SIms 2 you ride a fat cab
