I was just watching the news and a girl got stabbed in missouri and the lady ran off with her one week old baby. why would someone steal a baby, it kinda made me upset to hear something like that i am 17 weeks pregnant and i have a 2 1/2 yr old. what are people thinking these days? if u steal someone's baby everyone will be looking for it. what in the heck is this world coming too?

I heard about this and I couldn't even finish watching the news report about it. It makes me sick. I am guessing it's a crazy old lady or a woman who couldn't have a baby herself.. I hope they find that baby.. That poor woman is still in the hospital with a slit throat and worried sick about her baby..
Its disgusting..

If it is the same news story then I think this is why. Mrs Torres, the woman who stole the baby, had just had a miscarriage the same day. I've heard plenty of stories about grieving mothers kidnapping children to replace their own, it's an illness born out of grief. Even animals do this, If you have seen march of the penguins you will know what I mean. I think if i had a miscarriage, I would be in a lot of emotional pain.

The idiot that stole the baby was probably one of those women that doesn;t think the child's mother was good enough because she was "young". People are sick. The woman that kidnapped that baby should be shot in the head.

because they are stupid and envious...i heard about it and it just deppresed me...there are really some sick people out there...i pray that she gets her child back...im 17 weeks pregnant and i would hate it if they steal my baby when its born...you carry a baby for 9 months and its just so scary the thought of losing him...hopefully that woman is doing no harm to the baby

I have been keeping up with taht too. THey found a scarf that the mother said the kidnapper was wearing. I hope they catch that woman, and she rots in jail. If anyone EVER took my kids, they wouldn't live to tell about it. All my prayers for that terrified mother....

Isnt that so awful, as a mother of 2 and expecting #3 in May my heart goes out to that woman. Babies are so helpless and their lives truly do depend on us. I pray for her and for her babys safe return Dear God please watch over that little tiny baby.

Absolute Desperation. I cannot understand how anyone could be so desperate that they would steal another womans child. Sick, sick person. My prayers go out to that mom.

that is ridiculous. i know that people are desperate to have children, but to steal someone else's child?! maybe there is a reason why those people don't have children in the first place
