The bump appears to be a calcium deposit because it feels hard as bone and doesn't move under the skin. It's a little bigger than a nickel and protrudes 1/4 an inch or more. It's about 4 inches above my right eye. I've had it for 6 years and am tired of people asking me when i bumped my head. Thanks for any help.

I'm trying to think of what type of Dr. would take care of a thing like this. See your family practitioner and ask for a referral.

This is a true story about my son to let you know you are not alone.

One night our son was sleeping at our house and was bitten by a Brown Recluse spider, dead in the very center of his forehead. He got very sick (they are quite poisonous). The plastic surgeon had to remove a dime size section of skin and tissue right down to his scull. He looks exactly as if he had a bullet hole in the center of his forehead. He gets ask frequently about it and does not find it funny either.

I'd go to a doctor. He can probably do it out patient with a local anesthetic.
