What are some specific quotes of the first half of the book "War of the World's" with the page numbers.

You can look at the book online for free at Project Gutenberg http://www.gutenberg.org/etext/36

If you are asking this question because you need something to cite, just cite the webpage instead. I'm sure your teacher gave you MLA (or whichever style s/he prefers) guidelines.

Any page numbers ppl give you may refer to different editions of the book anyways, so unless you are using the exact same edition, you can't be sure they're right.

ok on page 17 it says "oh my god look at the size of those"
on page 47 it says "forsooth the end is surely upon us"
page 81 it says "ask not for whom the bell tolls - it tolls for thee"
and on page 123 it says "tom cruise is NOT NOT NOT gay"

On page 23 is says "Do your own homework"...

And you can't go to your local library or bookstore to get the book yourself because...?
