A lot of the time (simmer down - I didn't say all the time!) people who feel that strongly about their religions will not accept other religions because they feel they're denying the true god. There is a problem in this country where we assume all Muslims are of middle eastern decent. As with Judaism, we need to remember that being Muslim is a religion - not a race. And there are lots of people out there, not just these so called "Islamic fascists" who don't like what America does - we're the laughing stock of the world right now. So I agree with you. Bush is stupid in a lot of ways, but he really should be getting better advising on this topic.

Jeez... why don't you pay attention to what people say? He didn't say that *all* Muslims are terrorist or Islamic-Fascists. The terrorist are the Islamic-Fascists. Not hard to understand. And as a side point, Muslims would be a lot more creditable if they wouldn't riot to prove that they are non violent. Kind of stupid, don't you think?

He didn't. He referred to the Terrorist as Islamic Fascists. Please get it straight and don't lie. That's not very christian like. And further more, I would like to see a little more outrage from the so called Muslim community in regards to the murder and killing of innocent people. There is a very loud silence from the community on that issue. But someone utters Muslim and violence and you all go ape-****.

In case you haven't been keeping up on current events, Muslims and Christians have been slaughtering each other for 2,000 years. This sort of time honored tradition doesn't just keep going all by itself. Someone has to fan the flames now and then. Bush was a cheerleader in college so he's the perfect candidate.
So before criticizing, maybe you should consider how boring and peaceful the world would be if Muslims, Christians and Jews stopped killing each other. Consider what would happen if people stopped listening to the devisive rhetoric from our political and religious leaders.
I'm guessing that Bush's (as well Pat Robertson's) head would probably explode if people suddenly stopped demonizing those of other religions. So listen to Bush - he's doing his best to make sure that we people of all religions continue killing each other in God's name!

He uses the term fascist because he saw me use it right here on Yahoo Q and A (before I was banished for foul language). I referred to the Right Column fascists many times.
Lil 'w' has never had an original idea.
Doesn't the right appear to have more of the fascist qualities than the Muslims. I quoted Wikipedia's definition of fascism on here and was attacked by the right column like a budget with a surplus.
Read Wikipedia's definition and you'll see the word fascist describes America's current regime.

i have a better question for you?If Islamic countires are such religious people, why doesnt islamic countries respect people of other faiths? The Pope cannot say anything bad about Islam without protests and threats of death? But Islamic leaders and clerics get a free pass when they call everyone and their mothers infidels and force people to convert to islam or be expelled or face death? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

His "religion" is that "old-tyme" religion of fear breathing evangelicals who preach fire and brimstone and absolutely no respect or tolerance for other religions. Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists and all other faiths are going to hell - straight to hell with no stop along the way. This is why Bush appealled so much to the Jerry Falwell crowd and ultra-Conservative Right wing of this country - you either believe in his God or no God. These people are dangerous and Bush has proven that.

George Bush has referred to Islam as a 'beautiful faith' on many occaisions in his speeches. Unfortunately, the fact that it's the only good thing he ever says about it makes it seem much more rhetorical.

Because they have proved thierself so.
I have not seen a single leader denoucing the attacks on 911, or the threats against the POPE, but I see all the leaders supporting the terrorist.
So if you are Muslim, just post that the terrorst were wrong, and that the people who did this need to be brought to justice,
and just say that the people who killed the nun this week were wrong.
I will respect the muslims that will speak up for the truth, I just have not seen any so far.

Who knows what goes on in the mind of a man whose brains have been addled by years of cocaiine and pot and booze and God knows what else? I'm sure that he feels very righteous. Maybe, if you're a Yank you should just jump on the bandwagon and feel very righteous too. Don't forget, you're either with him or against him. At least think of the troops. And last but not least....it's the Law of the Bully..if you stand on his toe is he not allowed to beat you and all your friends and relatives to a bloody pulp while glorying in the righteousness of it all?
