hmmmm republicans look like there about to get there clock cleaned this fall in the election, then gas drops way down, hmmmm, maybe, just maybe, the oil companies are in bed with the republicans and together they were artificially inflating the price of oil as high as they could get away with before that. I know it sounds like a "crazy conspiracy" but so much has happened in my lifetime I'm starting to think people who don't believe in conspiracies these days are the crazy ones, or blindly ignorant, or brainwashed, or all three.

Look, the Democrats, if they win, don't take control until January. If they do things that restrict the supply, then yes, prices will climb again. The biggest thing we have to worry about now is if there will be a disaster, natural or caused by man. Right now, things are going pretty well, so supplies are good and prices are down. But we are only one major hurricane, terrorist attack, etc away from disrupting that supply again. Enjoy it while we have it.

If only everyone was as smart as you they would realize that this is a Republican plot. It makes perfect sense that a political party in the U.S. can control world wide oil prices, hurricanes, driving habits of the public and of course taxation rates in blue state California where gas is a buck a gallon more than it is here in Georgia.

ok, when and if the winter is very cold heating oil will cause an increase of price. happens every year
last year the hurricance caused it to go up too eary.
it goes lower in the spring after winter, then back up over the summer.
happens every year, why is everyone acting surprised when it does.

The prices will begin rising in December because of the seasonal increase in home heating oil.

Yes. Why do you think it is down now? bush and his Neo-cons need some help placing these people back in office. Hopefully, the majority won't fall for it....

Anything is possible. Major disaster. Attack on pipelines. Attack on Iran. A lot of possibilities that have nothing to do with either political party.
