I have hotel booked on 23rd of November, and just realized there might not be any snow up there during that time. Anyone know when they opened up the mountain last year? Looking forward to doing some boarding!
thx

They are starting their winter season on November 23. Of course the weather can be unpredictable but as it has become cooler and wetter earlier this year than usual and snow has arrived early in northern BC you should be in luck.

I'm sure they'll be open by then. When I went to Whistler/Blackhomb, it was mid December. The base was at least 13 feet and it snowed every night and was clear all but one day on a 9 day trip. Hopefully, you'll have the same luck I did. Fresh powder every morning.

They've already had snow up in Whistler, so you should be okay. The upper elevations will certainly be open by late November, and likely the whole mountain as well.

That depends of course entirely on the weather. Some years are early, others later in December. Keep your fingers crossed and hope for snow.

you can go helli-skiing year round. However the lower mountain opens the weekend of the US Thanksgiving. There will be lots of snow. Don't worry
