What depresses you? If only the schedule, then I would say no, get to bed earlier and don't transfer. You will need to be able to adjust your schedule in life.

If you aren't able to learn what you think you should, then yes - the best is a relative term, and every student isn't right for every school.

I would suggest that if you are depressed in middle school, you should try to get help for that. It may have nothing to do with your school. I spent two years in middle school hiding out in a little room behind the auditorium crying. No one noticed. Then, when I got to college, I dropped out and discovered that I had a very treatable problem with clinical depression.

Any school is going to depress you, because you dont want to be there. My school depressed me, and I hated all the people there, so I am currently being home schooled, which means I do all my classes, and work off of the internet. Theres an option, and if your school doesnt offer homeschooling, then yes you can transfer school, but I dont think that will help, because then you will just have to make all new friends, and you dont know what the teachers with be like. I think that would be much harder.

honestly if you have great study skills naturally.. the middle school you attend will not matter too much. Make sure your high school is a great one and offers many AP courses as well as foreign languages and a college prep program. Middle school is just a transition time to help kids learn how to be good learners and to review what they learned in elementary school

Yes, unless you live in a specific district.
