I recently spent a weekend in Miami. | stayed in a a decent hotel on Washington Ave. But the breakfast was really disgusting. It consisted of processed mushy sweet bread masquerading as 'wheat toast. The coffee was watery and tasteless.Just vile. It struck me that this type of food is commonplace. I tend to eat fresh natural food at home, am I out of the ordinary? or is processed additive filled disgusting food and pissy coffee the norm?

Surely if you're paying $150 a night you expect a decent cup of coffee and real bread not the processed sweet additive filled mush that gives you indigestion and heartburn.

fsanchez you know you're right., On the secon day I found a little Cuban cafe called Adams where you could have a delicious toasted sandwich and a cup of real coffee for a few bucks as opposed to the $22 charged in the hotel for a 'continental' breakfast. They even had the cheek to leve a large space for 'gratuities'.So the weak pissy coffee and mushy sweet processed 'wheat' (though that's questionable) cost me closer to $27 with 'gratuity'.

Hey not meaning to be a totally whiney tourist, I have to say I had a great few days. A pleasant surprise was a ree concert on the beach hosted by the NFL and a showcase of Puffy Diddy artists who
really rocked.

Peyton, perhaps you're not a discerning eater and like junk processed gm food. I do not.If we continue to put up with plastic food and say nothing then we get what we deserve and turn into what that food does to usmand all the illnesses assoicated with processed plastic food such as malnourishment, diabetes, coronaries, obesity etc.

What normally happens in a tourist town where there are large amounts of people, the restaraunts hire anyone that can cook food fast and they often sell the lowest quality food as well. They do this to keep the cost down. The best kinds of places to go to normally are the ones with big lines outside or a hole in the wall place or take the time to travel outside of the tourist area. The little remote towns often have the best food.

Most hotel food is utterly forgettable and expensive. I only eat hotel food if I am pressed for time or it comes free with the room. Take a look around the hotel and see if there is a better breakfast place. When I was in Miami, there were mom and pop grocery stores with fresh fruits and donuts near my hotel.

And I am betting there is a Starbucks or Caribou somewhere nearby.

it may desire to sound disgusting however the respond is dung beetles. (Which actual feed on the dung of animals) In Thailand dung beetles are raised as 'scarabs' two times the size of a standard dung beetle. The chicken of a puba (purely earlier growing to be to be grownup) is a uncommon and costly delicacy
