How do I buy things when I'm a vampire in oblivion?

In Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, you have to first collect 5 grand gem souls in order to make a cure. Many gems are bought through the mage's guild but I can't buy b/c i die in the sunlight. How can I prevent death in order to buy these necessary items?

You have several options. Go into town at night, break into a random person's house, and bite their neck. (If you don't feel like breaking in and don't belong or intend to belong to the Thieves' Guild, find a handy beggar and bite them instead.) This will bring you back to level 1 vampirism and you won't take any sun damage. You can then go about your business without people running from the sight of an undead monster.

Another way to get the gems is to rest during the day and dungeon crawl the caves at night. You can find Grand Soul gems in a few caves, including Nornal, Swampy Cave, Squandered Mine, the basement of Drakelowe Farm, Crayfish Cave--the gems also appear as random loot once you've reached a high enough level. The "Sins of the Father" quest is a particularly good way to get most or all of the gems you need.

Ah, ha! So that's what I have to do to cure myself! I'm still trying to collect enough Redwort to get back in the mage's guild. Fortunately, I have a number of people who will still talk to me and sell me things because I got them to like me enough before I was turned into a vamp. And what's up with the Redwort moving around? I found a whole bunch of it and then I died (very stupid move on my part) and then when I went back to collect it again, the Redwort was gone. How rude is that!?!

You can buy your gyms through fed-ex and they will deliver your gems to your cave! Tell the count that I said hello and the bites that his wife gave me do not really work, im still not a vampire!!
