Okay here's the problem. I am a married man and I have this thing where I like going to the movies by my self. I dunno why I just do. I find it very relaxing. Well my wife and her co workers accused me last night of cheating on her because they think I am going with someone else. I swear I'm not but they don't believe me. They say that no one in there right mind goes to movies by them self. Is that true. Am a a nerd for wanting to relax and enjoy a movie alone.

I go to the movies by myself. Also, no you are not a nerd for wanting to go to the movies alone; if your wife can not trust you to go to the movies alone, then she has problems.

Well then, that makes two of us. I much prefer going to the movies alone. I like to be able to see and hear the whole thing, without interruptions. I guess I'm a movie nerd, too! ;)

No i mean if u wana go see a movie and relax its ok try and do something really romantic for ur wife and show her u care about her and if she knows that u care then she proly will find out that u didnt cheat on her

Tell your wife to hire a private detective to follow you if she doesn't believe you. Or tell her she is welcome to spy on you herself if that makes her happy. She'll either do it and feel foolish when she sees you are alone at the movies, or she will forget the whole thing and know you are innocent (like why you would want her to spy on you if you really were cheating?). I personally don't go to the movies by myself, but I don't think you are strange for going alone. Would your wife rather have you go to bars by yourself?

I go to the movies by myself all the time.. Mostly because I enjoy different movies than my boyfriend.. I also go have Sushi by myself becasue he doesn't like it.. I am not going to give up things I enjoy because of someone else's tastes are different than mine.. We are adults, we don't have to be supervised every minute... We have TRUST in our relationship.. something that is obviously lacking in your own on your wife's part..

Well I have gone to the movies by myself, but normally people do go in pairs or groups. I haven't gone to the movies by myself for a long time, I either go with my family or a friend.

Not at all. I go to the movies alone frequently, as my husband is really picky about movies and doesn't especially enjoy going to them. Often my female friends are busy, so going alone is fine. My husband's prefectly fine with it too.

Hey you should be allowded to go by yourself. Sorry she doesn't believe you and sorry her friends put those thoughts in her mind. Maybe you should invite her once in awhile.
