Well it all started a while back I got introuble for something I haven't done at school and I almost got suspended and the police call at my school so then when my parents found out they got verbally and emotionally abusive. So I took out my anger in singing and basketball, yeh I know life isn't fair but on my end of life itz very very unfair cause everytime I try to do good somebody always gets either physically or emotionally abusive yeh so I'm good at singing and basketball, n' I wanna either get a job in one of those feilds i'm ok in singing but basketball part I can dunk on a 10 footer but I wanna get taller to be a shooting guard, so I can win a scholar ship and get out of this hell hole at home, my marks are farly good so I need a scholarship, i'm 14, 5'10 how tall do you think I will grow please this really means alot to me please help me figure this out please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not easy being you, huh? I feel your pain. I was 14 once, and I remember, "WELL", the abusive and emotional turmoil, my parents were always in. The bad news is you will survive this, but its like a prison sentence, you want get out of it until your at least 18, and even then Mom will be in "your business" the rest of your life. In the meantime, try to stay out of trouble. That is hard! But you can do it. You have a lot of common sense, use it. Buy your time, the next 4 years want last forever. And as far as playing basketball and singing, great choices. Pouring all that hostility into your chosen professions will pay off, and you will even "thank" the parents some day. Hang in there! Your just paying your dues, and life is preparing you for your calling in l ife.

You are only 14,you have not stopped growing yet,round about your 20s you may stop.I come from a tall family,and i am 5'11"-my son,who is also 14,is now 6'2"-so do not worry on that score-you will get there!!You seem to be holding a lot of anger due to the problem at school,and the criticism from your parents,and i know you may have heard it said before,but you could try counseling-at the school?It is not "unmanly" to ask for help every now and again y'no!!P.S-i suck at basketball!

If you are 5'10" at 14, I would guess you are going to be pretty tall. No one can say for sure though. You sound upset. Could you possibly talk to someone about it? Maybe a friend, teacher, or coach. I really think you need to talk. Good Luck in your future. I'll be thinking of you.

Honey, if you really want a scholarship, then keep studying your spelling and punctuation.
Oh, and you'll probably grow to be 6'0" or 6'1".
