27 isn't old. The time to stop clubbing is when you stop enjoying it. Keep having fun!

well, if you are pushing 30 and feel so old as all clubbers these days are at least 15-16... maybe it's time to come up with some other places to go. Maybe you need a new club.

I personally stopped clubbing when it got boring- I was about 23. It just seemed like the same shallow people getting drunk, wanting to get laid, wearing the same boring clothing styles, saying the same boring things and dancing to the same songs.

Im the same age and I still go out not as much when I was 21 but I still go. So if you still find it enjoyable then drink and boogie until your heart is contempt. And most of the clubs I go to is 21 and older so there is no teeny boppers to worry about.

Like the rest of the guys are saying, stop clubbing when you feel uncomfortable. What you'll find will happen is that a point will come - quite soon I reckon - when you realise that the current music is pants. If you're lucky, there'll be clubs around playing the music from 'your era'. As clubs/nightclubs/pubs still play Ska and punk occasionally, I won't be stopping anytime soon (44!).

I still go clubbing and I am 35! Not to meet guys but just to dance with the girlies and have some fun :) I don't think you are ever too old to do anything really - although I choose where I go by the general age group - I avoid the very young places :)

lol keep clubbing til you don't like the music. that's when you know you're too old for it. unless you find a retro club that still plays the music you like. i'm 18 and a musician in Goth clubs, but i'll play stuff like the cranberries or go even older than that when i do other gigs at more mature or retro clubs. just depends. find clubs that better suit you if you're feeling uncomfortable in the ones you go to.

You have about 5 years to go before you look like an old fart trying to get down with the kids. Enjoy the clubs now and look forward to the cocktail bars to come! LOL

When it isn't fun anymore, and you get bored with the teeney bopper stuff you left behind in high school. Surely, you could find a nice place to have intelligent grown up conversation, and a glass of wine.
