I have just forgotten. What is a natural number? Would -46 or the square root of 15 be a natural number? Is -46 a whole number?
Thanks!

In mathematics, a natural number is either a positive integer (1, 2, 3, 4, ...) or a non-negative integer (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ...). The former definition is generally used in number theory, while the latter is preferred in set theory and computer science.

Natural numbers, popularly called "whole numbers", have two main purposes: they can be used for counting ("there are 3 apples on the table"), and they can be used for ordering ("this is the 3rd largest city in the country").

Properties of the natural numbers related to divisibility, such as the distribution of prime numbers, are studied in number theory. Problems concerning counting, such as Ramsey theory, are studied in combinatorics

A whole number is a non-negative integer (i.e, 0 1,2,3,4,5...) No decimals or negatives. A natural number is the same, but does not include zero. Neither -46 or the square root of 15 are whole or natural numbers.

Natural numbers starts from 1 and whole number is starts from 0.

Please don't confuse between natural number and whole number by the example 46.

No to all of them.

Whole numbers are positive numbers without fractions or decimal points... (, 0, 1, 2, ...)
Natural numbers are the whole numbers minus zero.
(just think "can I count the number on the fingers and toes nature gave me?")

those are the equations you should be making use of: 2x+3y=33 3x+2y=31 Use eliminating to remedy for x and y. Multiply each by making use of a volume which will cancel out a variable. for this reason, x is canceled -3(2x+3y=33) +2(3x+2y=31) -6x-9y=-ninety 9 + 6x+4y=sixty 2 = -5y=-37 so y=7.4 Plug fee of y (7.4) into both equation to get fee of x 2x + 3(7.4)=33 ...2x=33-22.2 ...x=5.4 So, the answer is the binders value $7.40 a chunk and the staplers value $5.40 a chunk
