First connect to them through aim
Then go to start -> run.
Type "command" and click ok.
then type "netstat -an".
If you haven't connect to anything else your friend's IP should be the only IP there. other than your AIM server's IP, the 0.0.0.0 and 127.0.0.1 (your own loopback Ip).

I don't think so but there is another easy way, create an invisionfree board(www.invisionfree.com) and then tell them the link then once they are there go to the admincp and check the ip of the guest and there you go.
