This sounds a lot like a homework question. You need to learn to search for information on the internet so you can write your own paragraph. A Yahoo search for "history of bicycles" (include the quotation marks in the search box) yields 3,680 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly find the information you seek. There are several websites on just the first page of results that have exactly the information you need.

the bicycle was invented in scotland by jock mactavish because he didnt want to spend money on the bus he wanted to spend it on drink. it originally had 8 wheels but 6 fell off on the bumpy hill hence the phrase "och jock 6 wheels have fallen off on bumpy hill" which is used around the world today to describe things that go wrong
