No.....the Pope is infallible when making matters of "faith".
The Catholic faith.....it has nothing to do with anybody else or any other religion.

Nope the pope is not infallible ~ he quoted some other guy and from what i saw it was not like he said Islam is evil it was something more to the effect of Glory can not be found in blood... I wasn't paying a lot of attention, it's ridiculous, it's so p.c it's killing me ~ to quote John Popper ~
But no the Church does not say the Pope is infallible, only God is.
I ain't much for dogma, wanna dance naked under the moon & pretend to be pagan with me? lol
Peace be with you :o)

Catholic hype. No human, other than Jesus Christ, is infallible. The Pope is human and boy does he make mistakes! And I'm not just talking about Pope Benedict.

He stated it is not his opinion and not from his heart. He is sorry for the comments and what it caused. I do not think the Pope is
infallible, he is a man and he is human. We need to be human and forgive him. If a Middle East leader ask for apology, do we declare a holy jihad on them? Of course not. It is really time to understand the differences by the words and not use retaliation of violence that includes bombs. As Jesus quote from the cross, forgive them father for they do not know. Peace be with you.

He was talking to intellectuals and quoting a passage from a text dating back to the Middle Ages (saying, to start with that it did not reflect his opinion). Indeed, the Pope is infaillible. The problem is that muslims are very thin skinned and don t even understand the meaning of the word *debate*

I haven't actually paid attention to what the old nazi said but:
1. The pope is just another fallible human being
2. The irony of Muslims reacting violently to accusations that they react violently is just too ironic for words. Those people have no sense of humor or irony.
3. There is no god or allah so they are all fighting over nothing.

All he said was that the prophet Mohammed's teachings deal with bloodshed, death, etc. which are not in harmony with spiritual beliefs, etc. but the radical Islam quickly react. In this day and age it's best to keep things like this bottled up, we live in such a radical world when it comes to dealing with the middle east.

I think the infallible argument only pertains when spoken from the chair.
