The first thing would be to contact your neighbor about this. If its possible to solve this problem without bringing in a 3rd party, that would save a lot of headache. Try explaining the problem to him without accusing him of anything.

If that doesn't work, the local animal control dept. should be notified. You can also sue him in small claims court for violating your right to peaceable enjoyment of your property. Sometimes even the most stubborn neighbor will come around when the local sheriff serves them with a subpoena.

Just remember, its your property and it is his responsibility to control his pets.

Turkeys do attack people, especially children.

Unless your neighbors have a permit to own wild turkeys, they're committing a crime. The next time the turkeys get into your stuff, call the cops and get the number for animal control or ASPCA. Wild turkeys can and do attack people if they're taunted.

If they are wild then they can pretty much go where they want. But if they are free range that is different, turkeys don't like things that make noise but not much else stops them.

Yes, turkeys can attack. They have large spurs and very sharp beaks they can be pretty nasty.

Yes turkeys are nasty! I'd eat them, do you have animal control there? if so give them a call. If not I'd build a turkey encloser and lure them in, you'll have people lined up for cheep turkeys come thanksgiving! Bylaw may also fine them for alowing their animals to run at large

when you catch them in the act. scream to your neighbor and thank him for a thanksgiving turkey. (hahaha!) make sure that you have enough spices and you an smoke them. or frye them in a turkey fryer.

To your last question: no...people! attack turkeys...all year round and most of all around Thanksgiving.

What if you set off a bunch of firecrackers? The ones that really sound like guns going off.

I'm not sure if you have any rights other then to tell your neighbor their animal is on your yard, if it was a tree branch, you could cut it down so maybe it's something similar.
