Anyone who says you need to have someone twist your neck or press on your vertebra until they make popping sounds in order to be healthy should be locked up. Show me a subluxation on an MRI or CAT scan and I'll show you a leprechaun.

To: prancingmonkey - a true partial joint dislocation (not the nonsense chiros call subluxations) will absolutely show up on an MRI, and what's more, so will the soft tissue affected such as nerves and ligamentous tissue. An MRI scan is generally considered to be the single best imaging study of the spine, although not as good as x-rays if a fracture is involved. MRI's are also ideal for finding the DAMAGE done by improper cervical manipulation from chiropractors. The reason the chiropractic industry relys on x-rays alone is because that is the equipment they can afford.

The entire chiropractic industry is filled with so much b.s., infighting & scams it's sickening. I know them, I've been treated by them, and I've worked undercover to expose them. I've heard chiros confess that half of what they do for accident victims is b.s. to fulfill the legal regiment so they can collect on no-fault and the patient can pursue a lawsuit. It's all about keeping the cashflow. Only the most gullible fool would believe they need to have their spine manipulated weekly in order to be healthy.

I feel sorry for all the deluded people who think they are being helped by these quacks, and I feel especially sorry for the people who've been injured or killed by them!

Actually this would be the best license plate... BCKQUACK

dont listen to printninja. this kind of ignorance is everywhere! the guy doesnt even realize that the mri or cat scan he speaks so highly of isnt the right diagnistic tool for subluxation! you know this of course. I suggest a license plate like " mr. spine"
