How long has this been going on?? It may just be a stomach virus. But if she has been throwing up for more than 24 hours, get her to a doctor. Long-term vomiting, especially in young children, can cause dehydration which can be very serious.
If this is just a recent thing, have her try very small amounts of gingerale or ginger tea. If she keeps that down, she's probably getting better. Then something like Pedialite (or Gatorade) to replace the lost electrolytes.
More often than not, it's nothing serious.... little kids are always catching things from other kids.

It's important to keep her from getting dehydrated. She should keep taking clear fluids. Gravol is a good anti-nauseant, but read the package information first and make sure she is old enough to take it. Ginger ale is good for soothing upset tummies. If you stir a spoonful of sugar in the gingerale, it will take some of the fizz out and make it easier for her tummy. She should just sip at the drinks so she doesn't take too much down at once. If she holds down the liquids, she can start to have solids like crackers or bread, nothing too heavy or greasy.

Check to see if she has a fever or pains anywhere. If she cannot keep anything down, get her to the doctor.

Wait until she stops & introduce liquid ( ginger ale ) in little sips until she can keep it down.

That is stomach acid...try pepto bismal medicine to restore the stomach's balance...and get her to drink hot tea and 3-4 saltine crackers.

hold back her hair for her while she's vomitting over the toilet! Obvisiouly you never looked at your puke while you were doing that deed! it's supposed to look gross.... it's ok... yellow and chunking is what vomit looks like... and it really just depends on what she ate.... she'll be fine!!

its called bile. its made in your liver or pancreas i believe and its used to help digest food. this is coming up because there is no food in her stomach. call her pediatrician and tell him/her what is happening and ask to come in so he/she can help. its probably just a stomach virus anyway.

Lead her to the bathroom so she can throw up in the toilet then later clean up.
