Theres this guy that ive liked for a while and i already missed my chance last year to go with him to formal. this year, i want to ask him to homecoming but someones already asked him. thing is...he hasnt said yes yet. how do i take my chance to ask him without sounding desparate and risking rejection?

We are all scared of rejection! What will happen if someone says NO to you? Absolutely nothing! Maybe your heart will beat a little faster, but you won't die! At least you won't have a reason to regret anything. Confront rejection head on & expect to be rejected through out your whole life; but don't ever give up trying. Live life to the fullest each moment; what are you waiting on?!!
Ask him; the worst he can say is NO! Trust me, you won't die!

a bad decision is better then no decision, hell, go for it, how many times have you heard that many men love aggressive girls? it's true, the worst that could come out oof it is that he says sorry i already have been asked, chances are he won't be rude, and if he were , then you know you got lucky by him saying no in the first place, when you're young and dating and no ring involved then we are all open game, just do it!!

Walk up to him and just ask him. Don't let on that you know he has already been asked.
keep in mind though... he may say no - he's already been asked (even if he isn't going with her)
... he may say yes.. and then let the other girl know he had a better offer - but then do you want to go with someone who holds out for somethning better? what if someone else asks him after you? will he go with them instead?
But.. you will never know unless you ask - in person - today!

ask him! && hurry before he says yes to this other person..just go staight for it and ask him!, who cares if you get rejection least you will be able to look back and say at least i asked him, you willnt be looking back saying ' oh i wish i had asked him, now ill neaver no what he would have said'
Hurry! get up off your computer/laptop and go ask him staight away and be sure to write back to me telling me what he said
